Dear Coco is a London-based specialty coffee company that began as a love letter to Ant’s youngest daughter, Coco.
In three years, our Truck No. 1 in Chiswick has become the world’s most popular coffee truck, with a cult local and global following.
Now, we’re on a mission to bring more brilliant coffee to more places and more people.

In the beginning
In December 2020, Ant stood in his kitchen in Chiswick, London and asked his wife Emma, the mother of their three girls, for the most trust she’d ever given.
With immense uncertainty surrounding his corporate career, and no outlet to express his creativity, Ant asked Emma to believe in his dream.
That dream involved emptying the family’s life savings account in the middle of a global pandemic to build a coffee truck vision that existed only in his head.
Emma believed in it instantly, and in May 2021, Dear Coco was born. Ant and Emma’s two teenage girls were old enough to help out, so the business was named after their youngest daughter, Coco, to make her feel loved and included too.
Little truck, big dreams
This one small truck would go on to save Ant’s family from financial ruin and inspire a global coffee community.
What Ant didn’t realise then was how his journey would eventually lead him to build a global coffee company alongside startup founder, serial entrepreneur, former Silicon Valley CEO and investor Sam Chandler.

Ant brings 12 years’ hospitality experience running highly-awarded restaurants, cafes and bars in Sydney, Melbourne and London.
Ant spent 16 years leading International Experiential Marketing and Brand Partnership teams within some of the world’s most powerful brands.
Ant is Founder & CEO of Dear Coco, focused on building the world’s next great coffee company and enabling other coffee entrepreneurs.
SAM CHANDLER
Co-FOUNDER & CHAIRMAN
Former Silicon Valley CEO, startup founder, father, serial entrepreneur and investor, Sam is a renowned business builder, former EY Australian Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year and Australian coffee tragic.
Sam founded, took public and recently sold his software company, Nitro, to a private equity firm for $560 million.
Sam brings over two decades of private and public company CEO and board experience.
Sam is Co-Founder & Chairman at Dear Coco, and Founder & Managing Partner of Laneway Ventures, backing Dear Coco’s UK and global expansion.
